According to Reuters, British commodities research firm CRU revealed that in 2015, global optical cable Installed capacity reached 364 million core km, compared with 2014 311 million core kilometers an increase of 17%, a record high.
CRU also pointed out that the 2014 cable installed capacity compared to 2013 increased by 18%. We can see that in the past 2 years, the global communication infrastructure investment continued to increase.
From a regional perspective, CRU said that the Asia Pacific region is still the largest regional market cable installation.
